Moss Wood Caravan park is a peaceful caravan park near Lancaster, located in the village of Cockerham and surrounded by Lancashire countryside. Set within 30 acres of well maintained grounds and surrounded by fields and farmland, it’s the perfect destination for a short break or extended holiday.

With fully services hardstanding touring pitches and a selection of caravan holiday homes for sale, Moss Wood offers a quiet and relaxing base from which to enjoy the best of Lancashire.

Our location provides easy access to nearby towns, attractions and countryside, including Lancaster, Preston, Blackpool and the Forest of Bowland. Back at the park, guests can enjoy peaceful surroundings, abundant wildlife, a well stocked fishing lake and our 1.5k nature trail.

Our dog friendly caravan park has a number of walks nearby, including a beautiful woodland walk, which forms part of the route to the village of Cockerham.

Modern facilities, including a heated shower block, children’s play park, laundrette and well stocked shop, help ensure touring caravan, motorhome and campervan guests have a comfortable stay. We pride ourselves on our high standards and the warm Lancashire welcome that keeps guests returning to Moss Wood year after year.

We only booked here for 1 night as son was at a swimming gala.
The facilities were amazing. Fantastic play areas for little ones and older kids. Big field for exercising dog and ball games.  They also have nature trails. Toliets and showers were modern, upto date and clean.

Caravan/motorhome site, stopped for one night on our onward journey, unfortunately the weather was horrendous so didn't utilise the site as planned but bathroom facilities were clean, warm and well equipped with key access. Site is dog friendly with good woodland walk and large field. Good location for exploring this area of Lancashire.
